Interior Design: Studio Caberlon Caroppi

In a quiet area in the center of Florence stands a 19th-century building, now transformed into one of the dazzling hotels in the Hilton chain. The property is named the Anglo American Hotel Florence and is distinguished by the charming and harmonious contrast between the building’s classical lines and the contemporary, chic elegance of its interiors. An oasis of peace, style, and comfort, ideal for tourists and business travelers.

We had the pleasure of being involved in defining the furnishings for the hotel’s beautiful rooms and suites, taking part in an exciting project in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

The Studio Caberlon Caroppi boasts a twenty-year tradition built upon the creativity and vision of its two founders: Chiara Caberlon and Ermanno Caroppi, who specialize in creating custom concepts for the hospitality sector. The studio designs unique and innovative solutions, developing furnishings that embody the spirit of the place, with a strong sense of identity.

Architect Caberlon and her team crafted the design for the bathroom mirror and bedroom mirror for the hotel, entrusting Monteleone with their production.

The Mirrors for the Anglo American Hotel Florence

For the bathroom in the rooms of the Anglo American Hotel Florence, a bold solution was conceived, featuring a composition that completes the overall vision of a mirror alongside an accompanying cosmetic mirror.

The mirror boasts a unique design, with half of its profile rectangular and the other half curvilinear; a band of LED light accentuates the perimeter of the reflective surface, achieving a chic synthesis between cutting-edge technology and contemporary style.

The smaller mirror, though similar in shape, is positioned symmetrically to the main mirror, completing the designers’ vision. At the center of the mirror is a glowing circle of light, both striking and functional.

For the bedroom, the studio developed an apparently simple concept, not immediately revealed at first glance. The mirror is circular with irregular edges, and LEDs trace the entire profile, enhancing its lines: a piece that stands out with both subtlety and character.

An Engaging Project, One of a Kind

The mirrors and vanity mirrors created by Monteleone based on the CaberlonCaroppi design mark a new milestone in the company’s creative journey. In this case study, Monteleone played a primarily operational role, bringing to life the vision of an ambitious, bold, and highly prestigious studio. The final result is as described above: reflective surfaces that excellently combine form with function, blending a desire for innovation with the spirit of the place.
