The Spring House Hotel Rome Vatican, Tapestry Collection Hilton is a 4-star accommodation located just outside the walls of Vatican City. The building skilfully blends a design inspired by contemporary suggestions with the surrounding context, acting as a representative of the art, history, and solemnity that characterize the area. The hotel merges with the surrounding urban landscape, becoming a true extension of the Vatican Walls, incorporating into its design the sacredness and beauty of a place unlike any other in the world. Monteleone mirrors and mirror cabinets were chosen by THDP studio, the firm responsible for the structure’s interior design project. We proudly share this with you.

The Spring House represents a different dimension, a place where time seems to pause and reinvent itself. The contrast between the ancient and centuries-old fascinations of the surrounding context and the dazzling modernity of its interiors celebrates the meeting point between past and future, in a kind of harmonious convergence in which the city of Rome can exalt its multifaceted and layered identity. The building, dating back to the 1970s, symbolizes the balanced encounter between the ancient magnetism of the historical context and the contemporary concept typical of its furnishings. In this dual tension lies the true uniqueness of the structure, which stands as a happy island, a gravitational center for anyone seeking relaxation, well-being, peace and tranquillity, while outside, the frantic life of one of the most renowned and admired capitals in the world flows by. In this play of opposites – inside / outside, old / new, harmony / chaos – the Spring House Hotel definitively affirms its most authentic essence, breaking away from conventional norms. The natural element guides the guest’s experience, who notices the greenery offered abundantly yet discreetly inside the structure, as a gift of style and charm to be discovered gradually. Every detail was chosen to project the hotel into modernity without breaking continuity with its past and the spirit of the place: shining proof of this are the countless Roman elements placed in the common areas and individual rooms, key elements for linking past and present, the essence of the place with that of the Hilton brand.

Specifically, we took part in the project by providing our bathroom mirrors and our magnifying mirror: two elements that stand in perfect formal and conceptual continuity, through an appealing interplay of curved lines—sinuous, clean, slender to the eye and powerful in their material composition. The mirror and magnifying mirror were customized to best adapt the profile of these two furnishing solutions to the art design project proposed by the architecture studio: the result materializes in unique creations, without replicas, bold yet familiar at the same time. Another demonstration of how, for Monteleone, operational flexibility is a core value of its offering, where efficiency and quality demand the perfect meeting point.
